Change of Mind
Ordered the wrong item? Too many? Too Big or Small, just not what you had in mind. Contact us within 7 days of delivery. We are happy for them to be returned in their original packaging and at your own expense. There will be a 20% handling charge (this is to cover the cost of an inspection, to cover our costs incurred in shipping to you and to ensure goods are in a saleable condition and returned to our stock).
Missing Products or Short Shipped
We have an efficient picking and packing process in the Distribution Centre however occasionally errors can still occur.
If you believe you are missing a product(s) prior to contacting us, please verify the following:
- Ensure you have received the correct number of cartons that you signed for on the Proof of Delivery (POD) docket.
- Double check that you have opened ALL the cartons.
- Checked that the carton is completely empty, and the bottom of the carton is visible,
- Re-check the discarded packing materials that an item hasn’t been inadvertently thrown out.
- Lids and/or closures may be in a separate carton or included with other items in the same carton. Eg. under the bottles/jars,
- Establish no one else has removed or moved items without informing you.
If you are missing a product, please advise us as soon as possible ideally within 7 days. please contact us and our helpful sales team will investigate and resolve. Ensure to includes images of all products / boxes received.
Damaged Items
Here at Gala Imports Australia we try our best to ensure that your order reaches you in perfect condition, however, due to the nature of the product, we accept that sometimes damages happen. If your shipment is damaged, please contact us and our helpful sales team will investigate and resolve. We also require images to be taken of the damaged goods and packaging.
If there are individual items broken, we will offer you a credit code so the items can be replaced on your next order. We advise all customers to contact us within 7 days of delivery if there are any problems with orders whether it be damaged or missing items or any other issues. If you have any questions our Sales Team will be able to discuss them with you. A Credit & Credit Code will be provided.
IMPORTANT
Always check your purchases on receipt for shortages or damage. You must report any problems within 7 days of delivery. Claims for damage within transit require you to keep all packaging for inspection. We MUST insist you follow these instructions for claims and as any problems reported after 7 days from delivery are at the discretion of Gala Imports. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
Proof of Delivery
All orders are sent with an Authority to Leave, if Safe to do so.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
